All long-distance buses (Flixbus) as well as Intercity and Eurocity trains serve Bolzano train station (26km away). From there, bus no. 180 (which departs every 30 minutes) takes you directly to our hotel. Simply get off at the “Karersee/Welschnofen/Paolina” bus stop.

If you choose to arrive by car, you can reach us via the Brenner motorway (A22): from the north via Innsbruck and the Brenner Pass, from the south via Verona. Take the Bolzano Nord exit and follow the signs to Val d’Ega/Eggental. After about 20 minutes you are in Welschnofen, and after another 7 kilometres at Hotel Alpenrose. For a fee, you can park your car in our garage.

The closest airport is located in Bolzano. The planes of South Tyrolean airline SkyAlps land and take off there.

The airports of Munich, Verona, Milan, Bergamo, and Innsbruck (only in winter) are connected to Bolzano five times a day by a direct shuttle bus.
